November 20th, 2010

This is a new departure for Grennan Mill Craft School and we are looking forward to sharing it with you. Look out for Saturday’s Irish Times Magazine (27th November 2010) as there will be an article on Craft and you will be able to see some student work in Batik, Ceramics, Metalcraft, Print and Weaving. Last month, we welcomed ‘Terry the Weaver’ who did a very successful two day workshop on Spinning and Dyeing. He also showed the students some of his work. We also had our local field trip in October and visited Kells Augustinian Priory, Kilree Round Tower, Ahenny High Crosses and Workhouse Studios in Kilmacthomas.  The new site was designed by  Tim Harper and we feel it captures the spirit and essence of the Craft school. Thank you Tim!
